John Hooper and Louise Beer have a shared desire to produce beautiful, natural images.

Apogee Image brings together extensive commercial photography experience with a strong background in art and creative direction.

John began his career photographing for lifestyle magazines at the start of the millennium, shooting artists, musicians and actors before expanding his practice into film, e-commerce, interiors and corporate portraiture. Across this wide range of work, he has developed a distinctive visual language and an ability to make people feel natural and at ease in front of the camera.

Louise is an artist, curator and creative director with experience developing exhibitions and projects internationally. Her background brings a considered approach to composition, visual identity and the wider context in which images are seen.

Together, we combine technical experience with a strong creative eye, producing photography that feels natural, distinctive and appropriate to each client. We manage the process from start to finish, keeping shoots relaxed, efficient and straightforward.
